Royal Castle and Old Town

The history of the Warsaw Old Town goes back over 700 years. Razed to the ground during World War II, the Old Town has been reconstructed absolutely from scratch. UNESCO has included it in its list of World Cultural Heritage. The Royal Castle is one of the most popular attractions in Warsaw, and offers many valuable exhibits, such as royal thrones.

The National Museum in Warsaw

The National Museum in Warsaw is one of the oldest and largest museums in Poland. Its extensive collection includes over 830,000 exhibits, ranging all the way from ancient art to contemporary pieces. Visitors can admire Polish and European paintings, sculptures, and decorative arts, as well as fascinating archaeological artifacts. The museum also offers interactive exhibitions and educational programs, making it a must-visit for art and history enthusiasts.

The Royal Łazienki Museum

The summer residence of the last king of Poland is one of the most attractive palatial and park complexes in Europe. The name of the complex has been taken from a bath house rebuilt into a palace. The park consists of three gardens: the Royal Garden, the Belvedere Garden and the Modernist Garden, altogether occupying 76ha of land!

Palace of Culture and Science

Completed in 1955 as a ‘gift from the Soviet people’, the building is the embodiment of Socialist Realist architecture. It is still the tallest building in Poland and fulfils the role of cultural centre accommodating theatres, museums, a cinema and a concert hall. The highest cultural platform in Warsaw, on the 30th floor, offers an excellent panoramic view of the city.

Museum of King Jan III’s Palace at Wilanów

This Baroque palace, built for King Jan III Sobieski, is a true gem of Polish heritage. Known as the “Polish Versailles”, it features royal interiors, an impressive art collection, and beautiful gardens perfect for a stroll at any time of year.

POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews

POLIN Museum is a modern cultural institution dedicated to the 1,000-year history of Jews in Poland. Its core exhibition presents the vibrant heritage and contributions of the Jewish community to Polish culture, as well as the tragedies of the Holocaust. With multimedia installations and interactive displays, the museum offers a moving and educational experience. POLIN is a symbol of dialogue, remembrance, and common understanding.
